On day 25th, there's monthly meeting in Kampoeng Laweyan called SELAWENAN. This event are the place to meet, discuss and to promote products and to showing traditional cultural art show. In this event, all Laweyan citizen and the guest could strengthen the relationship and neighbourhood among them also to enclose communication. In discussion session the guest could get more information about cultural history and art from the expert that is came from many profession and academic background as from academic expert, birocracy expert and other profession. This session also include a dialogue to find better solution about the problem that happen among them.Selawenan now become tourism routine agenda of Surakarta.The more Kampoeng Laweyan grows, the more attention from local and national media. As the growth, the merchant more active to promote their product on Selawenan event to make their product more famous. The cultural and art show also showed on Selawenan event such as Ketoprak, Lesung Traditional Music, Traditional Dance, Puppet Show etc. Cultural art show also getting such attention from Laweyan citizen. This big attention make the FPKBL board member inspired to always keep on the traditional cultural art. Get luck!!
