In 1905, established Islamic Trading Union (Serikat Dagang Islam = SDI) with K.H. Samanhudi as the former. He was one of batik merchant in Laweyan. In this year founded how to make batik quicker by using stamp. If it usually need about 1 month to finish one sheet of handwriting batik, so using stamp, for about 1 month could finish 20 sheets of batik.
